Our Story: Nice Guy Technology

As early as he can remember, Mason has always been interested in computers and technology. From his first computer, a Radio Shack TRS-80 Color Computer, he was was hooked. He used to spend hours hanging out at the local Radio Shack and reading everything he could get his hands on.

After earning a degree in computer science he spent years working in various technology roles, including digital print shop manager, network administrator, HIPAA Privacy and Security officer, as well as designing, implementing, and managing multi-county data collection systems and learning management systems for various State and local entities.

While Mary's interest in technology didn't start quite as early as Mason's, she also has years of experience including teaching technology to youth and adults, managing learning management systems for large corporations, worked in technical support for a major computer company, and has a degree in Instructional Technology. While Mary likes all kinds of technology, her real passion has been helping organizations expand their reach through digital marketing.

Together, Mason and Mary have over 45 years of technology experience working with a wide variety of organizations including local and state government, food service, hospitality, mechanical/industrial, financial services, school systems, health/medical, legal, major technology companies, religious institutions, and nonprofit organizations.

After years of working for others, Mason and Mary started Nice Guy Technology in 2011. They began with a retail location in Grandview Heights where they repaired computers and assisted with both residential and business technology. With their business client base growing,  they began focusing solely on small and medium sized businesses in 2015.
